Symmetry in its purest form.

Hilma af Klint’s The Swan, No. 17 (1914) is a testament to the power of simplicity. As part of her visionary Group IX/SUW series, this work distills the essence of the swan into a perfect, balanced circle—a symbol of unity and the infinite cycle of life.

In a world filled with visual noise, The Swan, No. 17 offers a moment of profound stillness. Its minimalist composition and striking contrast make it a sophisticated choice for those who believe that true beauty lies in the essential. It doesn't compete with your space; it elevates it, grounding your room in an atmosphere of harmony and intellectual calm.

Why this belongs on your wall:

For the Curated Home: This print is the ultimate minimalist statement. Its balanced design makes it the perfect centerpiece for a bedroom, a quiet study, or a high-end living space.

The Power of Balance: The circular composition draws the eye inward, creating a meditative focal point. It is a work that invites deep reflection and aesthetic appreciation.

The "Museum Look": Printed with high-definition Giclée technology on archival-grade paper. Every edge of the geometric form is rendered with professional precision, ensuring the stark contrast between the deep blacks and whites remains bold and clear for years to come.

Don’t just decorate. Find your center.

About the Artwork

The Swan, No. 17 dates back to October 1914, a pivotal time in Hilma af Klint’s journey toward abstraction. This series, The Swan, is one of her most celebrated, representing the artist's attempt to map the spiritual laws of the universe.

By deconstructing the swan—a traditional symbol of purity—into abstract geometric elements, af Klint was pushing the boundaries of what art could be. She was creating a visual language for the unseen. Today, this work is recognized not just as a piece of art history, but as an icon of modern design that continues to influence contemporary aesthetics worldwide.
